Care Coordinator Role

 

​

RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES OF CO-COORDINATOR

​

  • Assist the team with rota management, compliance and administrative duties

​

  • Occasional visits to clients’ homes to carry out spot checks, observations and care plan reviews.

​

  • Support In CQC and regulated bodies inspections

​

  • Staff scheduling or staff rotas.

​

  • Liaise closely with lead coordinator or registered manager to manage recruitment needs

​

  • Process changes to customer care and support plans

​

  • Ensure there is sufficient cover to deliver excellent care to support service users

​

  • Utilise IT systems to allocate care assistants, and appropriately match them to the right customer

​

  • Rota production and distribution

​

  • Maintenance of electronic and handwritten records

​

  • Manage highly confidential and sensitive information

Essential Criteria :

​

  • Ability to effectively communicate with both service users and support care staff in person and over the telephone.

 

  • Client-focused with the ability to multi-task, work well under pressure in a clear precise manner.

  • Flexible approach to meet the needs of Fatrok Care Services Ltd.

 

  • Extremely organised with excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft office packages.

 

  • Valid driving licence, preferably with access to a car.

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the care industry either as a care coordinator or senior carer.

 

  • Familiar with risk assessments, spot checks and care plan reviews.

 

  • Experience of staff scheduling or staff rotas.

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to talk passionately about our services and values to care professionals.

 

  • Must hold a minimum of a NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care.
